While My Guitar Gently Weeps” is a song written by George Harrison, and first recorded by the Beatles for their 1968 “White Album” – the song was probably worked upon and elaborated at Harrison’s home in Claremont Drive, Esher, Surrey :- “Kinfauns” . The song features a lead guitar solo by Eric Clapton –  born in Ripley, Surrey.
